Sweetduction is a project of Låpsüs with photographic infographics composed of amusing images inspired by the hydraulic pipes of the industrial world. In these images made in photocomposition, the pipes are the common thread that transports the ingredients to carry out a selection of sweet recipes.
The series, whose title plays on the words "sweet" and "conduction", also sounds sonorously like "seduction", proposes different ideas of snacks to taste through the still life.. Each preparation invites us to see cooking from a surrealistic and unacademic perspective.
Illustration photography is a hybrid discipline in which the photographic process is used to create images with a final appearance close to that of digital drawing. The projects it encompasses differ greatly from traditional photography not only in the final result but also in the time involved.
What are the differences between this and other shootings?
The biggest difference is in the number of photos. The final result consists of several photos that can take more time in realisation and post-production than a conventional shoot. The sketch is more important than ever because it gives the photographer an important point of reference and is the thread of the project.
How to prepare such a shooting?
