Adrenaline was in the spotlight at the Art Institute of Chicago: on 28 September the winners of the Red Bull Illume Awards were announced, featuring the world's best action and sports photographers.
Un event with a higher level year after year, in which photographers full of new ideas take part. This time the overall winner was the German Lorenz Handler, with beautiful photography that integrates urban sport with nature. In addition, 55 photographs have been selected with unrepeatable captures.
Young people have been gaining ground. That's why Red Bull chose 3 lucky National Collegiate Winners to experience a full day with legendary Red Bull Illume photographers who accompanied them for a few days of work, creativity and improvisation.
Broncolor provided young people with a Siros 800 L Outdoor Kit 2, equipped with softboxes, umbrellas, flash tubes and reflectors. Their photographer mentors, who know the urban environment first hand, taught them how to manipulate the equipment to get the best pictures outdoors, whatever the conditions.
