In these modes, you can specify the step distance or number of shots according to the magnification factor and lens aperture. The software then automatically calculates the number of shots or the required step distance. In addition, pauses between shots can be taken into account, e.g. for mirror lock-up on SLR cameras.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continuous mode is available for special applications where the slider block is in constant motion, so there is no need for acceleration and stopping distances and the associated pauses. Exposures are then best made with very fast shutter speeds and\/or a flash.<\/li>\n<li>The bellows mode is designed for use with the optional CASTBAL-PRO bellows attachment. Adjustment can be selected at the front or rear. <\/li>\n<li>The Bellows mode is not only ideal for macro photography, but also for those fields of photography that require a lot of effort, special cameras and tilt and shift lenses. The BALPRO adapter system allows the use of various cameras and lenses. For example, it is possible to integrate high-quality mechanical lenses used in specialised cameras into a modern stacking workflow. Bellows mode mimics software control of the autofocus of a lens to produce a stack of images with different focus points of the same lens.<br \/>objects. The stack of images is then processed by stacking software to produce an image with an amazing depth of focus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The control unit is powered by rechargeable batteries (Canon LP-E6 - not included in the scope of delivery! We recommend the use of original Canon batteries only!) and is therefore ideal for outdoor applications and field work. For studio work, the control unit can be connected to the mains with the supplied AC adapter.<\/p>\n<p>The CASTEL MICRO has a maximum travel distance of 100 mm and its smallest repeatable pitch distance is 0.2 \u00b5! The maximum load capacity for vertical mounting is 4 kg.<\/p>\n<p>CASTEL-MICRO can be fully integrated into the NOVOFLEX-Q system with tripods, racks, stands, etc. for complex configurations.<\/p>\n<p>A camera is attached via the Q=MOUNT quick release unit, which is ARCA-compatible and can be shifted by 90\u00b0 if required. At the bottom of the rail, the focusing frame has the ARCA-compatible dovetail profile along its entire length and can therefore be used on compatible docking units. In addition, automatic functions, such as the internal camera function of focus bracketing, are no longer of much use. The consequence is that photographs at such a magnification can only be captured with an enormous amount of effort.
